Hey everyone! Today I wanted to do something for all my frugal makeup lovers: a list of my top 10 favorite beauty products under—wait for it—$5!
That’s right: Everything on this list is $5 or less. These are products I love and use on a regular basis. Let’s get to it! In no particular order:
Wet n Wild Coverall Pressed Powder
This is a great pressed powder that has an awesome texture and really does a fantastic job of setting my makeup for the whole day and fending off the dreaded mid-day shine. Sadly, I dropped mine a few weeks ago—but I’m buying more soon because I need this product in my arsenal! This costs $2.99 at my local Walgreens.
This is at least the third time I’ve mentioned these, but they’re so great. My favorite shade is Pink Lemonade; it looks so pretty on lips and cheeks. And it costs $1!
NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder
I have been using this almost every day for two or three months and I haven’t even made a dent in mine! This is just the perfect matte bronzer for fair skin types; I use it to contour. And it’s dirt cheap; I got mine for $2.74 at Target.
This pencil has fantastic staying power and gives my brows a natural, filled-in appearance. My shade Is Taupe, but it also comes in Medium Brown and Dark Brown. One of the best things about this is that it has a little brow comb built right into the lid; the other best thing is that it costs $2.99.
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
These pencils actually come in a slew of colors, any or all of which would make a great base for powder shadows. I like to use this white shade to make my powder shadows really pop! These usually run somewhere between $4.50 and $5.
Wet n Wild eyeshadows

|Walking on Eggshells|
I’ve talked extensively about my love for the Comfort Zone eight-shade palette, but Wet n Wild eyeshadows are very high-quality across the board. Lots of pigmentation, very soft and blendable—just the perfect shadows! The eight-pan palettes usually cost $4.99 at Walgreens; the trios go for $2.99.

Essence I <3 Extreme Crazy Volume mascara
This is a new favorite of mine! I picked this up on a whim a few weeks ago at Ulta, and I love it! It gives my lashes awesome volume and length, and I appreciate that the formula isn’t too wet or drippy. This is one I’ll probably buy again and again. And did I mention it costs $5?
Jordana Easyliners for lips

These are really nice, very pigmented lipliners. You can almost wear these on their own (or maybe with just some lip balm on top) because they give such great color payoff. Jordana can be a sort of hard brand to track down, but I’ve found it at a few local Walgreens stores. These usually cost $1.99.
Elf Small Stipple Brush
I’ve talked about this brush before, but seriously: It costs $3 and will change your life. It makes applying cream blushes a piece of cake, and you can also use it for highlighting, contouring…lots of stuff! If you don’t have this brush already, go to Target and get one!
Wet n Wild Fergie Collection Take on the Day Eyeshadow Primer
This is another product I’ve talked about before, but I’ll go ahead and repeat myself: Eyeshadow primer is key to keeping your shadows from creasing, plus they make the colors show up more vibrantly. It’s a must-have in anyone’s makeup bag, and this one from Wet n Wild costs $4.99 and works great.
So those are my top 10 makeup products under $5! I hope this was fun; perhaps you even see a few things to add to your shopping list!
